The Vision Statement for Lake Carroll Baptist Church
Through our vision, our goal is to mature as disciples of Christ, “Come into the Fullness of Christ” and GROW deeper (extremely) in love and devotion with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
GROW IN “AGAPE” (God’s unconditional) LOVE – A place where the hurting, depressed, frustrated and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness; guidance, and encouragement.
GROW IN BOLDNESS TO SHARE THE GOSPEL and tell the good news of Jesus Christ to those we come in contact with in our family, at our work place, in our social life
GROW THROUGH BIBLE STUDY – Help equip people to spiritual maturity through Sunday Morning Bible Study, receiving the Word of God through our worship service, men, women, youth, children ministries, and events
GROW INTO AN EFFECTIVE MINISTRY – Prepare every believer for an effective ministry individually and corporately; helping them to discover their spiritual gifts and talents
GROW so we may encourage God’s people to learn God’s will through His Word; and to walk in the power of His Holy Spirit
GROW to be the lighthouse for our community, city, state, country, and world, shining the light of Christ into the darkness, and into the hearts of those who need Him.
GROW confident of the power of Christ in us; be strong and courage’s in the Lord and STAND UP for the down trodden, SPEAK OUT against unrighteousness, DEFEND the innocent and PROCLAIM Christ until his return
….AS A RESULT, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but, speaking the truth in love, WE ARE TO GROW UP IN ALL ASPECTS INTO HIM, who is the head, even Christ. Ephesians 4: 14-15
